DIMMU BORGIR guitarist Silenoz has issued the following update on the songwriting sessions for the group's new album:
"After spending the last months in pre-production for our new, as-yet-untitled album, we're quite excited to say the least and look very much forward to finally start the recording sessions once again with Fredrik Nordstr?m at Fredman Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden in October. It will be a story-based album with lyrics written accordingly and music wise it'll be let's see .hmmm...very DIMMU BORGIR! We can't wait to have this monster finished and share it with our fans as they have been extremely patient with us, but we promise - it'll be well worth all the wait!
DIMMU BORGIR's upcoming CD will feature a guest appearance by MAYHEM's Hellhammer on drums.
