According to Metalhammer.co.uk rumours that former Pantera/Damageplan drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott has teamed up with members of Mudavayne and Nothingface in a brand new project have been confirmed by informed sources. The group has been writing and recording material in Dallas, Texas for what will eventually become its debut album, tentatively due in early 2007. A name has already been selected for the band, but has not yet been revealed, the sources said. The group's lineup is as follows:

Chad Gray (MUDVAYNE) - Vocals
Greg Tribbett (MUDVAYNE) - Guitar
Tom Maxwell (NOTHINGFACE) - Guitar
Jerry Montano (DANZIG, NOTHINGFACE) - Bass
Vinnie Paul Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) - Drums

A headlining tour is tentatively expected to take place before the end of the year, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.
