Oasis' decline since their mid-90's heyday has hit home with the band's frontman Liam Gallagher, who has admitted how a number of bands have stolen the Manchester rockers' thunder.
"What bothers me is that we're not the biggest band in the world any more," he said recently. "U2, the Stones, even Coldplay are bigger than us." The band's last album, "Don't Believe The Truth" met with modest critical acclaim, a distant memory from 1995's 16m-selling "What's The Story (Morning Glory)"
Liam also revealed his fondness for indie upstarts The Arctic Monkeys, although revealed how the band made him feel awkward.
"I like him, I do, and he is definitely a bit of a genius lyricist, but he is still a kid," Gallagher says about frontman Alex Turner. "He was eight when 'Definitely Maybe' came out. What am I, a 38-year-old supposed to say to that? They make me feel awkward.
