Singer Bryan Adams will perform at a fundraising concert for earthquake victims in Karachi, Pakistan. The Canadian star will play to an estimated 20,000 people at the Arabian City venue later this month.
Nearly 74,000 people were killed and 3.5 million made homeless by the South Asia earthquake on 8 October.
"This is the first time that an artist of Bryan Adam's calibre is coming to Pakistan," said concert co-organiser Salman Iqbal.
Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt travelled to Pakistan to visit survivors of the earthquake in November.
Adams, who had a global hit with (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, planned to visit Pakistan five years ago but cancelled his trip after the 11 September attacks.
