Artistdirect.com reports: Ozzfest has radically reinvented itself by offering free admission to all concertgoers. To score tickets, fans need to visit the website of a select sponsor starting on May 12th, obtain a special code, then return to the website a month later to score their two free tickets.
Sponsors include Ozzfest.com, LiveNation.com, MonsterEnergy.com, JagerMusic.com, and FYE.com.
"This will change everybody's impression of the way touring in the summer in America should be," promises organizer Sharon Osbourne.
Among the acts joining Ozzy Osbourne on stage this summer are Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Behemoth, Lordi, and Nile. The 24-city festival kicks off July 12th in Seattle.
