Lesson

So, you've just started playing your bass, and you want to learn the basics?
This simple intro from Linkin Park - In the end - Might help you improve your skills a bit. This is my first self-written tab, so if you have any comment, please send it to me! Originally, this intro is played on a piano, but it sounds great on your bass when you've got the timing right. I assume you already know how to play, but if you don't, the lines stand for the strings to play, the number for wich fret to hold the string to. Here's the tab:

----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
-0-7-7---3-2--2-2--2-3-0----------------
----------------------------------------------

So remember, the line at the top is the least thick snare on your bass, and the lowest line is the biggest. Use the original song to get your timing correct, but because it's a pretty slow song that shouldn't be difficult.
Keep practicing untill you're able to play this without even looking at your bass, or until your satisfied.
I hope this helps you, it certainly helped me!
Sorry if any words or sentences are incorrect, but I'm from Holland. I try not to make mistakes, But that's almost impossible. (I haven't seen any mistakes though)
Good luck, and have fun!

Stefan
