The Zoom 707 is now quite a popular digital effects pedal but its not perfect.

Some of the features included in the 707 is the electronic tuner, its not that different from any other electronic tuner so i won't continue with that, but there is over 70 effects which includes a large amount of different metal, jazz, blues, country and funk but some of the effects are quite strange and useless and take up memory on the 707 that could be used for better effects. It also has a feature that lets you create your effects which does set it out from any other digital effects pedals. |

The 707 is no different than other digital effects pedal but it could save you money on buying millions of effects pedals and leads to connect them together. The one problem is that it does not have a feature that could let you organize effects into a particular order. |

The 707 does not produce excess noise and has good sound quality so it does perform very well. |

It is very durable as the large moving pedal is quite strong and can take alot of weight. If you get a warranty that lasts for a few months dont worry it should last much longer than that and if you buy one second hand it will probably be good as new unless the previous owner had some strange obsession with pouring water over electrical objects which is quite unlikely. |

The saying "nothing is perfect" is true but the zoom 707 is still a great effects pedal, it will probably deserve a 7/10 |

I bought this pedal around Christmas time for £109 from marcus music in belfast. The price wasn't too bad as I've seen it advertised for £129 so I saved £20. Nice guy talked me through everything and showed me some of the best effects it has.

The pedal has 120 sounding patches. Effects can be combined and stored in any order you want in patches. The pedal contains a wide range of effects including distortion effects, modulation effects, chorus, flanger, Reverb, delay and booster and cabinet simulators to name a few. 74 Effeects are available in total. There are 33 distortion types so it has something to please everyone. A drum machine is also built in offering a wide range of beats and variable tempos so you won't need to bring your drummer around for a session. A smart media card can be purchased for it to record your own songs or tracks off a cd and slow it down, speed up etc. Has lots of effects so it is suitable for anyone, metalheads, jazzers, and easy enough for beginners. It has 3 pedals in total. Two for selecting patches and one expression pedal. |

It plays great, nice effects such as whammy, tremlo and stuff like that. Wild effects also included like the one at the start of fistful of steel by R.A.T.M. The pedal also increases the amplification of the guitar. This is the only multi effects pedal I have used but its the best I have seen anyway. Sometimes it is hard to switch between certain effects without changing all the patches around. Oh yeah, you can also rename all the effects if you wish. |

The sound quality is good and different amp types can be used. From vintage amps to american or brit combos, you choose. Hasn't had any bad interferences any time I have used it. Has an east edit feature too. Effets can be combined and saved so you can keep it instead of trying all the combinations again. A smart media card isn't needed for this |

Built like a tank and sounds like a heavenly tune. yep, it's built alrite. Made for stage - a set of four batterys last 11 hoursand a power pack can also be used. Bright Red LED's are also used for easy veiwing even in the dark. Also comes with a built in chromatic tuner for guitar. Has a wire holder thingy at the back so the power pack won't fall out, come loose or be pulled out. |

This pedal does me fine although I am thinking of buying a digitec whammy pedal. I chose this pedal because it looked strong, sounded good and had a wide range of effects. If you are a new player or new to using effects, I suggest this pedal is a good starting point. More advanced players would probably be better buying seperate pedals and a good amp for easier and better performance on stage. |
