I bought my Zildjian ZXT 18inch China from Guitar center about two years ago. When i bought it i spent about 140$ for the cymbal. And let me tell you, this thing is amazing.

For the money you are going to spend on this cymbal, i personally do not think you could get a better bargin. The cymbal has a very distinct sound to it. It has a very heavy and forthcoming attack, with a sharp and quick residual effect. I have tested many china cymbal because they are my favorite, and this is the only one for me. The durability for the cymbal is pretty intense as well. In the two years i have used it, i have not been able to bend it out of its original shape, and the edges are still completely smooth. The only thing that i would say is wrong with it, is that you need to hit it a little harder to get the effect you are looking for, so probably not for a jazz musician. |

For the money you are spending i dont believe you could get much better playability. Granted with the ZXT series you cannot perform as many variations on the cymbal as you would like, but it is still an amazing quality cymbal. |

The sound quality is the top in its price range. It will make your drumset sound that much more professional. The only thing in this catagory would be the variations in the sounds. It has basically a pretty straightforward sound to it, so if younullre looking for variation, maybe this isnnullt the one for you. |

I found that the cymbal is extremely reliable. I play a lot of heavy music, and i hit the cymbal very hard, and it has never bent, cracked, or changed in pitch or tone. It is perfect for stage use, because it had the look of an extremely expensive cymbal, at half the cost, plus it sounds great. |

I chose this cymbal, because i have heard nothing but good things, and after playing the ZXT China symbol, i gotta say that i would not trade it in. I play very technical music, and i expect nothing but the finest sound quality coming out of my drums and cymbal, and this is definately in the fine quality bracket. I suggest drummers worldwide give the ZXT series a good thorough check, because they are bar none, the best in their class. |
