I found this cymbal on eBay slightly used, and got a deal at $170, especially since an identical one sold the previous day for $230. I bought this cymbal because I love Knulls. I had been using a light 22" Nuvader ride (it was cheap, but sounded pretty good) until it cracked and I temporarily switched to my old 20" K heavy ride, which just didnnullt fly with how I play in my bands. It has a lot of ping and volume, but the wash is very deep and has very little attack. Since the wash is my #1 priority I had to get a new cymbal.

Actually, Inulld say Very Good. It has a great wash thatnulls quite loud and has plenty of attack so I can use it like a crash. It also has a good ping to it, better than the light Nuvader but not quite as much as the Heavy K, as expected. The strange thing is that it has a weak bell that hardly cuts through the music, even weaker than the Nuvader. Thatnulls a very negligible issue for me, though. |

What can I say that the K logo on the cymbal doesnnullt say for itself? |

I cannullt really say much for the durability since Inullve only just gotten it and played it twice. |

I chose this cymbal because I needed a light to medium 22" ride. I was willing to spend a little more on a K, but still wanted a good deal and I got just that. Aside from the weak bell the cymbal completely lives up to my expectations, and Inullm willing to sacrifice some bell for that great, full wash. If it holds up, I plan to keep this one for a long time. |
