THEY ARE SO EXPRESSIVE IN THEIR LYRICS AND I THINK MORE BANDS NEED TO DO THAT INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT DRUGS, SEX, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT

The Beautiful Letdown, Switchfoot's 4th album released on 6/22/04 proved amazingly popular. With fan favorites like "Meant to Live"" and ""Dare you to move" it is definetly a album I'll listen to for a long time. Other songs like "This is your life", "Gone", really let you focus on life and can really make you think. With lyrics like "we were meant to live for so much more , have we lost ourselves" and" this is your life are you who you want to be?" really take you to what life is and what your living for and what your motives are in life. This band and their music is so completely honest, something I really don't see alot of anymore. The album cover feartures a old ,rundown, empty pool with a guitar in it. They are definetly worth checking out.
