Review Stagg 1400 VT

Review by ArmixZ on 20.2.2004

I bought the guitar in a music shop in Latvia and paid for it about 300$.

  Features

This is quite cheap guitar but it has quite good frett system on it. Itnulls good enough for a beginner.

  Playability

The performation is ok, the sound is good only the wood isnnullt really high quality so the sound is not so deep as it could be but for this price...

  Quality

Therenulls a little problem that when the gain of the overdrive feature on my little Marshall MG10 ir turned to max therenulls a little noise in the background and even when the fretts are blocked, there is a little background sound, but in other modes there are no special noises or problems. There are no special effects and the quality of the sound is quite normal, too.

  Durability

It is a bit hard to use because the fretts are a little bit difficult to press, but itnulls not critical. In other aspects the guitar is quite durable.

  Overall

So Inullll rate this guitar as average: a little price, a moderate sound quality. Itnulls good enough for a beginner.
