I purchased this guitar at a local guitar shop. I got a steal on it - I know that. It usually runs between $200 and $400, depending on where you get it. I paid about $120 because my local shop has a price match guarantee and I just happened to find one that was close enough to the exact thing to pass for REALLY cheap. Itnulls a great buy for the money, even if you pay regular price for it.

Itnulls got a flame maple top, which looks pretty sharp. The finishes on these guitars are beautiful. The neck and back of them are either black or red depending on what finish you choose. The cutout closely resembles that of a les paul, however, Inullm not suggesting that the quality of these guitars even resembles that of the les paul, as, well, Inullve never played one. But, these guitars are definately not hard on the eye.
The neck is also maple, with the finger board being rosewood, and has dot inlays adorning itnulls 22 frets. The two humbucker pickups and three-way toggle switch allow for a wide variety of sounds. You can play screaming metal riffs, or some softer ballads with it, whatever you like.

Inullve not played many guitars. However, Inullve experimented with a couple of Ibanez and Fender models, and this one seems to sound relatively well in comparison. the frets allow for just about any kind of playing, so whatever you want to do with it, you can. Not being a big fan of Fendernulls guitars, Inulld take this model over a telecaster or a strat, definately. Itnulls cheaper, and it just feels better to me. |

Inullve not had any troubles with wiring, and the guitar has always produced a sound that I find acceptable for what Inullm playing. I had an old Squier for awhile, which caused some SERIOUS noise, but I havennullt seen any of that with this guitar. Again, the finish is great, and the hardware seems durable. |

I havennullt really had any problems with it. It stays in tune relatively well, and Inullve never had to stop in the middle of a gig to retune. The finish is pretty durable; mine has only sustained minor chipping which I take full responsibility for. If younullre looking for a guitar with a tremolo, however, this is NOT the way to go, as it doesnnullt have one. But if younullre looking for a nice looking and nice sounding instrument for pretty cheap, Inulld definately say go for it.

Like I said, Itnulls a great deal for the money, and Itnulls definately something that younullll be able to show in public. Itnulls not a rickety old piece of junk that you limit to just messing around in your room. Itnulls a great instrument. Inullm not looking to replace it. If anything, itnulls a great backup if younullve already got a great looking, great sounding guitar. And I think itnulls great to have a variety. Donnullt just buy Ibanez guitars because thatnulls what you know, or whatever brand younullre familiar with. Try out some other things, you might be suprised. |
