i got my Preacher from my dad. well i found it in the attic and started fartin round on it. iv been offered upwards of 2000 ( euros) for this guitar from guitar mechs and collectors. i learned on it so im biased but to be honest if i saw it in a shop it wouldnt of drew me in.

the stereo and mono outputs are top class. endless fun to be had. run both tru wha whas and into seperate channels on an amp, different effects and tonal idea in both. highly versitile features. the double tone an volume controls are very handy, really add that extra something to it. gives it an edge over other guitars. |

very versatile guitar. i play an aweful lot of different genres. i play in a country band. it can do bum chucka country rythm excellently but can still get the sweet bright vintage tone for lead parts. It plays fantastic. as i said im probably biased towards it. the thin neck can be almost too long at times but it has a great feel. the action is quite good, low enough to be able to play as fast as you need but not so low that some tone suffers. i had a problem wit some buzzing higher up on the low E but a bridge twiddle fixed that. it is also very easy to play heaver tuned down stuff. |

i think it sounds as good if not better than the les paul heavier sound . ie. zach wild type stuff. i think the clean tone esp. on neck pickup alone is second to none. i found for high gainy solo stuff it performs excellently. i would rate it for this agaisnt any "metal" guitar. i think it sounds better for these types playing than any Ibanez or BC Rich. with high gain distortion i found it does make a bit of noise for humbuckers but still no more than i would say anyother solid body with very high gain. the clean tone is unmistakable. jus gorgeous. i would say its one downfall is the lack of snappy clip funk u can get from it, with the heavy solid body it just doesnt lend itself to this at all. |

mine was kinda beat up when i got it, alot of paint chipped from headstock and a few scratches and the likes and i was expecting to have trouble from it but i have never had such a dependable guitar. i didnt realise how durable it was until i got other guitars. i couldnt believe the difference in how well it holds tune under nearly all circumstances compared to newer , apparently better, guitars. the bridge is solid. really solid, its great.i really trust it, big heavy hunk of pure manly finese in your hands. |

i would never change this guitar. i may get new ones but never as a replacement. i am playing a gig tonite in a band, classic rock/metal type stuff and if i was going to be playing any other guitar i would bring a spare. it has NEVER let me down , i am constantly in awe of it. it has very little shortcommings , endless versitilty. it is very playable , almost any style works and rythm , lead , high gain distortion , sweet quiet strummage , fast complex solos. it can do it all. and look damn good at the same time. excellent guitar, i would highly recomend anyone who has opportunity to pick one up to do so, and dont let it go! |

This guitar is probably the most loaded with features. It has two volumes, two tones, a mono and stereo output, 24 frets, ebony fretboard, and matching neck and headstock. |

its a tough guitar to play, the weight doesnt really bother me, but the neck is almost too long to play easily. Maybe if the cut outs were a bit bigger than the first fret notes would be easier to play. I like the thin neck, and the 24 small frets. |

Surprisingly, this guitar sounds great downtuned. Im into metal and so i hooked it up with some distortion and it sounds really cool. The sound i get out of the preacher, in my opinion, cannot be matched because i have tried many other guitars, and none have a resembling tone. On clean channels, this guitar should be the most sought after guitar, because it sounds so good! |

Very good playability. After some hours playing my back hurts a little because of the weight. It has a very massive body, which has a great sustain and a great tone. |

Since the 6 years it works without any adjustment. I don?t need a backup guitar on live gigs, because I can trust the Precher. |
