This is Oasis's best album by far apart from (What's The Story) Morning Glory. Its a real serious comeback album but unfortuantly when they released The Importance Of Being Idle it didn't do too well. Thats a pity because that is a brilliant song and it has to go unappreciated. The third song Lyla is just like the good old Oasis. If you see this in the shops buy it now. I mean NOW!

I think its a serious attempt by Oasis to win back lost support. I find both music and lyrics comming straight from oasis hearts. Liam seems to have finally got back his form in singing within his limits. If the band sticks together, i see better thing to come for Oasis and their fans.

The album starts with loud'turn up the sun'.IT progresses to more acoustic driven ballads like 'lyla'&'love like a bomb'.Though the track thats stands out'Importance of being idle' for its meaningful lryics.Side b opens with 'GUESS GOD thinks im abel' opens. Well one of my favourite tracks 'A BELL WILL RING' track written by rythm guitarist gem archer. It end with very lennon style 'let there be love'.In simple words a different attempt & they have totally suceeded.

A typical example of British Rock n Roll. Oasis have pulled it off once again. We have waited for an album like this since The Who launched "My generation". *****
