for the money its excellent. my one doesnt have floaty toms so they dont wobble whn you whack them. i dont know if its just because its what im used to but it seems the easiest kit to play that i have ever hit. |

it is what you pay for. real wood ply shells not mush wood with solid chrome plated hardware. |

once set up it doesnt slip or move or fall apart. Im mostly a thrash metal drummer so my one gets a fair bashing and it still isnt slightly damaged. |

my dad really chose the kit for me becuase it is a sort of beginers kit but it is easily taken on to be used by more experienced players. perfect if you are learning and far better than a CB kit |

I bought this drumset at ellis drum shop in st paul minnesota in december of 2003 and it is a pretty good set. It is exceptional for the price (around 450 with upgraded hardware and tom mounts, etc.).

This drumset doesnt have many flaws, but one of them is pretty critical. I noticed that no matter what heads i used (evans g2, remo coated ambassador, etc.) it didnnullt tune very well, and when it did, i fell out of tune pretty quickly. |
