I bought the Line6 POD 2.0 about 5 years ago at a smaller music store called White House of Music in Brookfield Wisconsin. This store is usually directed more at school musical instruments etc instead of stuff for real bands. They usually dont carry Line6 equipment but it was there because someone traded it in or something of that nature. I payed $360 for the POD and the smaller floorboard (FB4). As the years have progressed, I have gotten used to how the POD functions.

The POD 2.0 is an extremely adjustable music processing station. First, you can select from a list of at least 17 different amp models including models based on such amps as ?64 Fender? Deluxe Reverb?, ?95 Mesa/Boogie? Dual Rectifier? Head, and many more. Then there are at least 15 different cab models including cab models based on 1965 Fender? Blackface Twin Reverb?, 1996 Marshall? with Vintage 30s, and many more. From there you can select from 16 different effects and effect combinations including Chorus, Delay, Flanger, Reverb, Compressor, Tremolo, Rotary Speaker, and many more combinations. You are also able to adjust equalizer settings (Bass, Middle, Treble), Drive settings, Reverb settings, and Output settings. The POD 2.0 also includes a built in tuner. Modelling of amplifier microphoning is done by the A.I.R. feature of the POD 2.0. This feature models the sound of mic'ing the amp. This is good for recording guitar parts without plugging into an amplifier at all. There are MIDI In and Out plugs on the POD making it even more customizable by plugging it into your computer and running the necessary Line6 software. You can adjust even more than what is available on the actual unit. |

The results have far exceeded my expectations. It is easy to get used to and fun to use at the same time. I have the bigger Floorboard plugged into it so I can use the wah settings included within the POD's software. You can tweak the sound to get exactly what you are looking for, no matter if its a Hard Rock/Metal sound your looking for or a Grunge sound, or even a Classical clean sound. |

The sound quality is amazing. If there is any buzzing/humming, you can turn on the noise gate included on the device and the sounds go away. The distortion sounds are amazing sounding. You would never know that I used a Line6 POD 2.0 by listening to the recordings I have done. The professional sound is unmatchable by any other multi-effect processors I've tried out there. |

I have a habit of dropping things very often. The POD 2.0 has endured being dropped at home and even the rough environment of many concerts. There are a few scratches and paint chips in some areas but the sound has not been damaged at all. None of the knobs have ever fallen off and cleaning the device is easy and safe. |

This isn't the newest installment of the POD series, but as far as my experience with it goes, it's awsome. It has given me all the sounds I've ever wanted, the effects are perfect, and even the wah sounds amazing. I HIGHLY recommend tryin it out! |
