i bought it on the internet ,i payed 50 euro`s for it,i was looking for a pre/headphone amp for my bass guitars

i like the chorus and reverb fx ,controls are easy to use,weak point is the high noise when treble is crancked upbut the overall sound is great aspecialy when plugged into good soundcard or when used with good headphone |

Bought it for 200 $CAD (about 300 $USD) in June2004 at Stevenulls Music Store in Montreal.
It was introduced in spring 2004 ? (my serial number is very low : around 5000 !)

Features |

Itnulls a multi-effect unit + rythmn generator + tuner.
It offer a wide variety of preset effects : they are relatively easy to modify.
Again a variety of rythmn : can be chained ; it include fills and stuff.
But you cannot modify them.
The tuner work great for a bass guitar (which was not the case for my regular electronic tuner : it worked with a guitar but not a bass.)
There a Bass Cancel mode where you plug an aux CD and it remove the Bass : I tought it would not work but it really does ! I can "replace" the bassist of U2, the Cure, Booker T and the MGnulls, Motownnulls Funk Brothers, surf music, Bauhaus anything I tried ! Even les Rita Mitsouko (...) You can also transpose the song from the aux CD !
Also a "phrase trainer" to learn/copy/loop riffs (I did not try it yet.) |

Donnullt expect to use this on stage for your next World Tour ...
But to practice by yourself , jam with friends. It is great !

The sound is incredible. Many different effects and good selection of rythmns.
Again it is not meant to replace a rack of effect for a professional player !
I showed this to my friends and they said : yeah another gizmo. I plugged it and the guitarist wanted one ! Select a beat, select a tone for the bass and then play : thatnulls it ! Have Fun !

I had it for 1 month ! But it seems rugged enough (even if it is made of plastic but it make it lighter...).
The battery run out rapidly (10hrs ?) WHEN the display is lighted.
There is 4 top knobs : eqLO, eqMID, eqHI + Volume.
There is 2 big knobs : 1 select the type of AMP and the other is a value selector. And "arrow" keys to record/menu/etc
Included is a strap holder : you click it on your strap so you can see the display and fiddle easily with the knobs. |

Basically I wanted a device to play bass at night without disturbing my girlfriend/neighbors. I got a whole lot more ! For the price, it is a bargain !
It deserve itnulls name (Pandora Box) for I never know what groove it will induce ! Pure Pleasure.
It exceed my expectations ! |
