I bought thu=is at my favorite local music store. I believe the effect was around $100, but is was more for the power adaptor.

The TS9 is a "radioactive green" color. It consist of a stomp thing(to switch it on and off) and three knobs. One knob is for Drive, so you can adjust the amount of gain you are using with the effect. The other knob is for Tone, which seems rather pointless since I use the tone on my Tele and amp... The other knob is for Level, which adjust the amount of volume you are actually putting through to the amp. (I think?) The overdrive is perfect for that wailing blues sound, and gritty Zeppelin style rock. I also sometimes turn the level up and the gain all the way down, just to make my tone fatter. The only weak point would be the battery life without the adaptor. This thing does not last long. |

In my opinion, this is one of the best overdrive (overdrive, not distortion) pedals on the market. It works great for blues and blues rock, which is what I primarily play. No metal out of this baby though! The controls are wonderfully simple on this thing, but I am going to have to give it a 4 because the tone knob doesn't do much of anything at all. |

Like I've been saying, this thing works perfect with my teles and my Traynor tube amp. It definately fattens up the sound. I couldn't ask for anything more in the sound quality department! |

This thing feels really sturdy. Drops certainly won't break it! The bottom is thick rubber, so it doesn't move around at all. I've heard spilling liquid on it really ruins it, but I'm not downvoting for that. |

I don't think I need another overdrive pedal, although I may mess around with others to really compare this thing. It definately lived up to my expectations, because a lot of my buddies have them. Buy one! |
