I bought this Left-Handed red Bass at The Guitar Center, on: June 20, 2005. The price was $245

  Features

This Bass is very nice, but I would like it to be black instead of red. The pickups are Active, which means it uses a 9V battery inside. If you leave the cord plugged in, it will DRAIN THE BATTERY!!!

  Playability

The bass performs well, no broken strings, inullm not worried about it turning gray and falling apart on me in the middle of a gig.

  Quality

Itnulls like a professional Bass Green Day might use- thatnulls how good it is

  Durability

This bass would be steady for gigs or something, but you should always change the battery to make sure itnulls not dead. Or It will be all distorted and sound terrible. ,

This bass has been so perfect, however If i could, i would get a left-handed fender p bass, but this was their only one

i just today bought a soundgear bass,for(lol)£200.... my budget was actually £400 but out of all the bass makers in the store ibanez was the overall winner. i got the (sg) model because the playability was simply amazing for the price. its actually one of ibanezs cheapest basses but it has a certain playability thats quite missleading for the price.

  Features

u can get it in several colours, i got it the orange wood affect. the pickups are standard factory pickups but work very well. the tuning pegs are strong built pinsirs, and all the wiring seems very strict when it comes to tone and volume. last but not least the fretboard is like a chunky peice of butter u could shred on it all day if u wished.(the neck is also a bolt on) its a type of bass that could mannage different styles of playing, whether ure playing jazz or metal. i highly reccomend u pick up an ibanez bass when u get the next chance
