Review Ibanez EDC

Review by a visitor on 8.4.2005

Hey too, people!. I bought my Ibanez EDC-750 totally new at "El Bosco" (Madrid-Spain) in august 2004 and its cost was arround 900 euros (750$ aproximatly)

  Features

This "punchy-cool-punchy!" bass is really solid, and sounds and feels great. Is made of Luthite: a solid resin material that is never affected by weather changes!!
It has a 9-volt active 3-band EQ preamp, 2 "soap-bar" pick ups that make this ibanez bass guitar sound even better than the best pro-series from Fender, Sadowsky, Zon, Warwick, ESH...
Controls are very easy to use, and really precise: volume, pick up-balance,and bass, middle, loud control.

  Playability

It is really easy to use, and its design makes possible to play the last note without any kind of problem.

  Quality

weight a lot, but sounds great, effects could be added with a pedal, but makes a little bit of noise, but i think it?s typicall from all active guitars. It is solutioned using correctly the EQ. Included strings are not very god at all. Use "D?addario" or simmilars.

  Durability

If you use it right you will have a very durable bass guitar for your hole life.
Strings may be changed by some "D?adario?s".

  Overall

So, if you want an affordable priced bass guitar, and if you wanna sound as the best pro buy an EDC from Ibanez.

Ok i bought this bass at daddys junky music. I bought directly from their werehouse bought it for 299 street price is 600 list price is 800. I got luckey because i cashed in on the anual daddys werehouse sale.

  Features

With 2 dubble coil passive pickups on the 700 and 1 tripple coil passive pickup on both the 710 & 715 (5-string) this seris puts out an AWESOME sound for a moderate price this bass seris is also incredibbly light it is a gr8 seris and i recomend it to anyone willing to putout the 600 bucks to buy one, and i would every one that has played my edc700 has offered to buy it from me.

  Quality

This bass generates a bit of extra "fuzz" when playing very hard or playing with quick fingerwork other then that its good there too

  Durability

this is were the edc seris has its shortcomings its stock neck while very slick and nice to play is well very thin and because of that my neck is cracking now im not sure thats why my bass was so much cheaper then the list price
