As far as a killer rhythm section goes, this lp has the best (and loudest ) bass guitar work I ever heard. Greg Ridley was the overlooked backbone of the Pie. Jerry Shirley is still one of the greatest drummer's ever. This lp was Greg's finest moment. Check out the Bass in " IS it for Love" So much feeling in that. Also, the best of Steve Marriott & the Blackberries era. Clem Clemson does great on guitar also. The 3 studio sides are awesome, despite the " live" 4th side, which isnt as good as the Fillmore Live or King Bisquit versions. This was the 1st LP I ever heard by the Pie. I went on to get them all.Soul-rock does not get any better than this. Steve & Greg will be missed greatly. ROCK ON. RICKY in KENTUCKY.
