I bought my Squier Strat in April of 2005. It was about $200 with an amp and a bunch of other stuff. The guitar itself was about $100. I bought it a small music store called Moore Music. I bought it because it was cheap. It's a nice guitar, I guess. I DO NOT recommend it to a guitarist with experience.

It's easy to play and it stays in tune. However. The pickups are terrible (probably $5), the fretboard is TINY, and it makes a ton of fret buzz. The body is rather simple to scratch too. Starter only guitar. |

It is very easy to play, besides the small fretboard and fret buzz. Not to mention it sounds bad. But, easy to play. |

It sounds bad. The effects are poor. Has alot of fret buzz. But, I suppose there is worse. |

Well, the the cable never seems to stay in correctly, losing sound often. Due to this, it is not for gigs. The guitar stays in tune well. It scratches easily. |

Like I have said before, not for ANYONE with guitar experience. It will live up to any starter expectations. I am considering getting a new guitar, an "Epiphone LP-100". I hope I get it! |
