The features on this guitar are perfect as I have never liked the feel of a precision body but always liked their necks and the single volume knob is also perfect for anyone who gets annoyed by a knob they never use anyways. The only thing I didnt like were the stock strings at the time of my purchase i was getting into flatwound strings anyway. |

It is absolutely a pleasure to play as I have bigger hands anyway, its an incredibly easy player and since it has been my main bass for so long its gotten even easier to play it seems every time I pick it up. |

The stock pickups suit my tastes just fine, they bring out just enough treble with enough bulk to handle earthshaking lows. There is a slight humming to them but Im not one to complain about such a tiny thing. |

This bass is absolutely tough as hell as I said earlier I have had this bass for 4 years and it has held up better than any other bass i own and I have never had any problems as far as tuning or any other adjustments go. |

I really wasnt looking for anything special when i walked into guitar center that day and when i came to this bass i knew i found something that was going to last but more important than that it had an unbeatable sound and tone and was so easy to play.I love this bass and im sure i will continue to use it as my main bass for a long time to come.I would stronly urge anyone into punk, rock,or classic rock to try out or purchase this bass for themselves. |

I Currently DO Not Own One But Have Played It And the Only One Word That Could Possibly Decribe it Is,

It has a Jazz bass body with a P-bass neck, 3 ply white pearloid pickguard, Seymour Duncan Quater Pound Pickups, and 1 volume knob. Now, I know the not having a tone knob is what causes most people to Turn their noses up at this bass, personally I have no need for a bunch of knobs because I donnullt use the tone knobs anyway. Besides, If you have a good enough amp you wonnullt need to mess with the tone knobs in the first place.

I am a great fan of blink 182 and i love this bass, the fusion of the p bass neck and pickups in a jazz bass body is pure original, Everybody complains about them not having a tone knob... WAKE UP, SMELL THE GREEN!! just turn the volume knob down and louden the amp NO PROBS, also the crappy fender superbass strings need to be changed instantly to some ERNIE BALL "HYBRID SLINKY" strings and you really do get the best sound, some people just go "OH thats made by mark hoppus from blink watever theynullre called" and never try it, aat least give one a shot in a guitar store if you come across one, YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED |

I have tried one for about 5 mins and it was a real chunky goregeous sounding bass, many people say that the neck is over varnished making it impossible to move around, NO WAY, either they need to loosen their grip little or just wash thier sticky hands, or buy some neck cleaner, it will get the stickyness off the neck no problems |

Very nice sound no buzzing, again another shed tip...1... if you get buzzing turn off, take out the lead, check the lead ends(if you have the twisty type)make sure they are tight BOTH ENDS!...2... Check the hexagonal thing where you connect in the lead on your bass and your amp! if they are lose you need to have a spanner ready! tighten it! until you have to use ur full strength! ...3... or you need to turn the volume down on your bass and up on your amp. |

THE BEST BASS EVER!!, If you play modern punk, or punk rock like e.g. greenday, this is easily the best bass for you I AM GOING TO GET ONE! im saving all the cash i get from working in Millets and general pocket money for this IF YOU PLAY GREENDAY MORE THAN BLINK you are on the the wrong page you need to be looking at the MIKE DIRNT BASS reviews I have also played one for a bit in my local guitar store and it sounds great also. i will not be reviewing it! if you play bass for a band even if your not in a band just see what you are playing, have fun and look for the best sound for what you are playing! PUNK ON! |

I bought this bass in the Daphne Blue colorway for $569.99 at Muscians Friend about 4 or 5 months ago. The main reason I got it was because I prefer the jazz bass body over the p-bass one, but the p-bass neck over the jazz bass one. Also, because I mostly play stuff like blink 182 and green day and this seemed like a perfect bass for my style, not to mention it just looks good.

Besides, If you have a good enough amp you wonnullt need to mess with the tone knobs in the first place. The only feature I dislike on this bass, and all fender basses, is the sorry excuse for a bridge. I hope to get a Badass II bridge to put on mine pretty soon. The Duncans pump out the nice steady mid-range I prefer in my bass sound, so no complaints there. If your style is like mine, and you donnullt care about the bridge, younullll have no problems with the features of this bass.

The quality of this bass is one of the best of any mexican p-bass Inullve played. It does generate alittle noise when your not fretting, but personally I donnullt mind it. Everything is put together very well, no defects or anything like that. |

This bass is pretty durable. Itnulls taken itnulls share of beatings but, it still is in tip-top shape appearance wise. No paint cracks or major flaws. This bass can play with no problems at any volume you wish. |

If you like punk music and donnullt care about adjusting tone on your bass, then this is the one for you. I do wish they offered more than just 4 colorways in this bass. Overall, this bass definitely lived up to my expectations and I couldnnullt be happier with it. However, if you play fingerstyle, I wouldnnullt recommend this bass to you, because the action is not really set up for fingerpicking. |

the mark hoppus bass is a jazz body with a precision neck and semour duncan pickups. the pickups have sharp, crisp sound and the jazz body has a great feel to it. it is great for using your fingers or playing with a plectrum. the bad points are that it has only a volume knob and no tone knobs, it also only comes in 3 colours, daphiene blue, surf green and shell pink (i am i die hard blink fan as i have told you so i got it in pink) |

the only time i have had to tune the guitar since i bought it was when my sister got annoyed with me and twisted the tuneing heads. this guitar is good for me because i play at partys and it can go as loud as you like and not have any problems with the sound. |

this guitar is perfect for me, if you like punk music then get this. the precision bass is for heavier metal and is a lot cheaper but in the end it comes down to what music you are intending to play with it. |
