Review Fender Lite Ash Telecaster MIK

Review by a visitor on 8.1.2006

Bought it from internet website. Paid £349 for it in the summer 2005

  Features

Lite Ash Telecaster with Maple Birds Eye neck and Seymour Duncan Pickups single coil , Brass Saddles, natural finish. Typical Telecaster configuration otherwise

  Playability

Lovely as good as USA built Fender instruments that I own. Tone is marvelous, pure Tele with bite and punch - I was always doubtful about Telenulls until I got this instrument but now Inullm sold! - Deep bluesy feel on rear pickup, bitey on front and full of character when using both. Maple neck is a joy, one of the nicest Inullve ever played.

  Quality

Pickups usual single coil hum issue but other than that great!

  Durability

No reason not to expect this thing to be running in 20+ years time.

  Overall

This is one of the best kept secrets in the Fender portfolio. Unless your buying USA high end model Tele, get this one and ignore MIM Telenulls. They are that good!
