This review is several years past due as Inullve had this guitar for almost 5 years now. The Jazzmaster is guitar that stands out. Itnulls been around along time like itnulls popular brothers, the stratocaster and the telecaster for reasons as various as itnulls name (it wasnnullt a "caster") to the people famous for playing them such as 60nulls surf rock greats, The Ventures (although they now play Wilson Guitars exclusively) to Elvis Costello in the 70nulls, to Sonic Youth in the 80nulls and 90nulls and all the bands they influenced... heck even in the 21st century bands such as Incubus play them. (NOTE: most of the musicans who play(ed) these guitars werennullt actually jazz guys at all!)
I love the shape of the body and the width of the neck on these guitars.
Inulld never part with mine and if you pick one up younullll no doubt feel the same way.
Itnulls not just a Surf Guitar itnulls your freedom.

I love playing this guitar! Itnulls obviously a hit for surf music, and can twang quite well for rockabilly. Itnulls punk as hell (Mike Palm from Agent Orange uses a white one!) and great for the whole art noise aficionado (ala My bloody Valentine) and 90nulls rockers like J.Mascis of Dinosaur Jr.
Itnulls the only Fender I have and I want another!
It has a longer scale neck than the jaguar, so that gives you more action to slide around on. |

No hums, no hissing and no static. The 62null reissue is a great guitar, no need to haggle with the vintage ones, unless younullve got the loot. |

Inullve dropped this guitar, thrown it and worn it and it still plays like a dream! It suffers the same bridge issues that vintage and reissue fenders, so have an allen wrench handy. The vibrato constantly falls out, Inullm going to have that fixed. |
