Bought it Dec 06. San Antonio, The Guitar Center.
699.00

Kicks ass. My 4th guitar in 20 years. As u can see, i donnullt buy often but when i do, i shop around. I have a Mexican Fender, a Kramer, Schector Omen. All around 300.00 apiece. Spent more this time, wanted some serious sound. Played a Gibson LP Studio and the Epi Black Beauty, couldnnullt tell a difference except for about 1500.00 bucks!!1

Sustain is amazing, turned off my amp an hour ago and I can still here that baby ringing.

Stop shopping around, head to the music store, play a Gibson/Epi side by side. You will see the light.

Donnullt sweat it, GET IT!!!!

Two volume knobs, I donnullt know why, but i need it.

  Playability

Plays so well, u swear u are a better player. And with the prolonged sustain, it give u time to point to the crowd inbetween power chords (even if you r the only one standing in your garage).

Solid MF, solid.

  Durability

Only had it a week, played it for about 15 hours, havennullt broke it yet.

I bought this guitar in May of 2002, on sale at Music and Arts in Loveland, CO. I paid $499. At the time Musicians Friend listed it for $629. I had only been playing a few months and had played dozens of electric guitars. This one seemed to have the highest quality construction and most versatile sound of anything I looked at under about $1000. And it looks amazing!

  Features

Honestly, the only knock I have is the third pickup. It doesnnullt add enough to the sound to justify being in the way sometimes when playing. Additionally, you pay an extra $50 for the extra pickup.

  Playability

This guitar simply rocks! A Les Paul is heavy but worth it!

  Quality

My only quality knock is on the pickup selector switch (see above). Otherwise, my untrained eye cannullt tell the difference between this guitar and a Gibson.

  Durability

The pickup selector switch can be unreliable sometimes. Inullve been told the best remedy is to replace it with a Gibson switch. Flipping the switch with "authority" seems to alleviate the problem.

This guitar is everything Inulld hoped it would be and more! The more I learn to play, the more I love it!
