Bought it brand new at the pioneer in Wilson, N.C. for $229 a month before Christmas 2004 for a Christmas present. It was brand new and had never left the box. I got the sunburst color.

Well I couldnt imagine learning guitar on anything but this. This really is a great guitar to learn on, and Inulld trust it for a live gig as well, b/c this has never given me any problems at all. Ive never had to replace anything on it, and if you but a nice set of Ernie Balls on here then this thing will scream. Its got one volume knob and one tone knob and a pickup selector switch. A lot of guitars have more but most beginner guitars dont have all that so Id say it has enuff features to get ya going. Pickups are very nice. Its just got standard dot inlays tho, thats sumthing Ive never been very fond of, but its better that way if your just learning. Stays in tune very very well. |

This is the part that surprised me. Even my friends who have been playing upwards of 4 years say that this plays great compared to their guitars. However if you use thicker gauge strings, I find that u may need to adjust your actions, or on your E A and D strings, it may be hard to play up past about 15th fret. But I dont do that much anyways on E A or D. This guitar also handles drop D tuning very well. Overall its very fast and very refreshing to play, as it plays just like its more expensive cousins and sounds nearly the same depending on what amps your running. |

Very good Sound quality, I can play anything on it from GnnullR to Nirvana to Zeppelin to Slayer and it all sounds really really good. Doesnt really generate too much noise unless your on the bridge pickup or you have your tone knob all the way down to 0. It looks very very good and plays even better. I like it way more than my friendnulls Squier Strat. This can definitely compete with my friendnulls SG Custom Epiphone w/o a doubt. |

VERY VERY reliable. It is MOST DEFINITELY steady enough for a live gig or any other live situation. Never needs adjusting and hardly ever needs tuning. Ive bumped it around a bunch and it still looks terriffic |

Like I said earlier, I couldnt imagine learning on anything but this. If you think you wanna start playing guitar but u dnt have loads of money then dont think twice about buying this guitar. Inullll never let go of this guitar, as its my 1st one, and I cant imagine it giving me any trouble int he near future. TO say it greatly surpasses my expectation is an understatement. This is just as good as an expensive Gibson, especially if your just starting out. I think my next guitar will be a Jackson Faded V, but this baby will still see plenty of playtime, as usual. Couldnt imagine this guitar being any better |
