I played it in a guitar store in Farmville, Virginia. It was not in "Axis Music". I dont know what they wanted for it as it was an off the shelf item. I am guessing it would have been around 100.00 USD.

Very simple pedal, just plug it in and play. It doesnt have knobs, or anything to really configure. It is just a very simple straight forward wah-wah pedal. It has a very heavy chasis though. The chasis is extremely heavy for a pedal. It feels like a large rock in your hand. It is made solid though. |

This is definitely not my style of pedal. It didnt have that screaming wah effect to it. It sorta sounded like a smooth wah, nothing heavy. It was okay, but i would go with a Zakk Wyld or Slash Signature wah for metal. If you play funk, jazz, blues, any of that area it may be good for you. |

It was okay for sound, nothing to die fore. It had okay action, it didnt generate noise though thats all i really give it. Gave a pure wah feel, but not for hardcore metal fans. |

I am not sure because i didnt not buy this item. By the looks of how heavy it was and how solid it was built i would say its pretty durable. It doesnt have any adjusting you really can do for it. I may use it in a concert, i doubt it though. It worked though, not sure about if it is reliable, its dunlop so it should be. |

Its okay if you like smooth wah. Not a good idea for hardcore wah lovers, If you love hardcore wah go with a zakk wylde wah or a really vintage wah. This one isnt much for modern metal or vintage metal. I consider vintage metal like pantera, metallica, and things in that area. So if you are into that kind of metal then i would suggest trying it out, but i wouldnnullt buy it unless you try it first. |

I bought this from guitar center a while ago and really like it. i also have a MORLEY BAD HORSIE 2, although the morley is a little smoother(and adjustable) I still like the sweep that this thing produces. I have heard that it affects youre tone because there isnnullt true bypass but i havnnullt had a problem with it. i would also like to point out that it works better with some distortion (or else you will hear a large transition in volume).

I think that there are of course week points, like the fact that you cannullt changs the Q at all, and the pedal is kind of hard to move. It is a very harsh pedal (sound wise) if you play metal like me it sounds killer but if you want a clean tone i wouldnnullt recommend it |

Itnulls your basic wah pedal. It gives a very full wah effect when you know how to use it. Itnulls only down side is that the switch that turns the wah on and off is a little touchy. |

I thought the Crybaby would do more than it really does. But itnulls just your normal wah pedal. Inullve come to adore this thing ever since. The VOX may be more what younullre looking for if you want the Hendrix/Clapton sound. But this pedal is great just to goof around with. |

Again, itnulls a basic wah. It sounds like a wah pedal should. The further you put your foot down the higher the wah. This pedalnulls range of tone may be higher than some others. I pluged my Strat into the Crybaby and even THEN there wasnnullt any hum. That impressed me a lot. |

You could huck this thing at a wall and it wouldnnullt break. The only thing you may need to do is oil the lever. This wah could take constant abuse for a day and it would still hold up to the Dunlop name. |

My overall opinion on this wah-wah pedal is that itnulls great to have and practice on. For a beginer, itnulls a great start out. I chose this one because it cost less than the VOX and it still had a great sound range. I may move up to a VOX sometime when i use wah-wahs more in my playing. |

Inullve only used a Dunlop in the past, Mine is by Thomas Organ (Vox), the inventors. Donnullt remember where I got mine or how much. If Original is in the name of most anything then it probably isnnullt the original.

Not as good as mine, but quite good. If you have a couple years to search for a Vox Cry Baby before you need one, take the time. Otherwise, get a Dunlop. You probably wonnullt know the difference without side by side comparing both. |

One reviewer said the Cry Baby doesnnullt have the Hendrix sound, but it does because itnulls what he used. In the mid null60s when I started playing there were no other makes of wah-wah pedals I know of, although he used a Vox like I do. |

It is a good pedal with good sound except that I find it gets way to loud and high pitched when you push the pedal too far forward. The pedal is also hard to get a good "WAH" going because it is too hard to rock back and forth. Its also really weird how i can hear the radio when it is tilted all the way forward. It is the perfect pedal if you are just starting up a band. |

You have to practice a lot to get a really good wah technique. This does great as long as you donnullt want to play really heavy metal. But you cannullt get that distinct Slash or Hammet wah sound. This works great for old Hendrix and Clapton stuff. Its modeled after the origional, and sounds like it. |
