I absolutely love this album! The lyrics throughout every song are so intense. It's almost as if when you listen to it, you become lost in this other world with Nicholas and Victoria. It goes from soft, melodic tracks like "Through My Words", "Through Her Eyes", and "The Spirit Carries On" directly into the harder, heavier songs like "Fatal Tragedy" and "Beyond This Life". The instrumental music in this album is just so complex. Being a keyboardist myself, I really enjoy the runs and riffs Rudess uses in "One Last Time", my personal favorite on the CD. Track #8, "Home", definitely brings the "metropolis" feel to this album. Scenes from a Memory is definitely one of the best musically written albums I've heard recently. I would highly recommend checking out this and any other Dream Theater album! ~Manda
