This is a very different sound (much better in my opinion) than their new stuff. I know some Dimmu fans didn't want this album to be re-done, but after hearing it, I couldn't imagine any Black Metal fan not liking it. I would rank Stormblast up there with Enthrone Darkness Triumphant and Spiritual Black Dimensions, their best work.
Buy this album. It is epic!!! It also comes with a live Ozzfest DVD.
Also check out Enthrone... , and my favorite, Spiritual...

In my opinion it was a good step to re-record that album, because the sound has improved and it's just better than the old record!!
The digi-pack comes with a bonus DVD that features the ozzfest performance 2004!
