I THINK THIS IS A GOOD BEGINNER PEDAL. THE PRESETS ARE NOT PRO SOUND QUALITY...SERIOUSLY! THE WEBSITE HAS A "PATCH LIBRARY" WHERE YOU CAN CHECK OUT OTHER PEOPLES SETTINGS FOR DIFFERENT EFFECTS WHICH (HATS OFF TO THEM) WAS A GREAT IDEA. |

I HAD BOUGHT ONE OF THESE AND I TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY THINGS AND ONE DAY EFFECTS STOPPED WORKING VOLUME PEDAL STOPPED WORKING HERE AND THERE. I AM NOT A HUGE EFFECTS GUY SO ITS CRAPPING OUT WASNT FROM USING IT ALL THE TIME. I NEVER TRUSTED THE PEDAL TO USE LIVE AND OF THAT I AM GLAD. I GUESS YOU COULD USE THE TUNER ONSTAGE HAHA... |

I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE BECAUSE THE FIRST ONE CRAPPED OUT AND SO DID THE SECOND NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE USED ALL THE TIME OR NOT TAKEN CARE OF BUT BECAUSE FOR 150 BUCKS THATS WHAT YOU GET A PEDAL THAT WORKS FOR THE LENGTH OF ITS WARRANTY. I STILL THINK IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER YOU WILL LIKE IT BECAUSE YOU HAVENT DEVELOPED YOUR SOUND STANDARDS BUT YOU WILL GROW OUT OF IT AND WANT SOMETHING BETTER EVENTUALLY...A GOOD BEGINNER PEDAL BOTTOM LINE. |

I bought this at the local music shop for $159.00, plus tax. It was available on-line for $149.00 (no tax, free shipping), but the local shop let me try it for a while with several different bass models and amps to see if I liked it. I considered the $10 equivalent to equipment rental.

The factory preset effects are pretty good and they all have some level of customization. It takes a little while to figure out how to move between the various options, but after an hour or so it reallty is pretty straight forward. I havennullt spent much much time setting up the 40 available custom effects, but I imagine I will. The jam-along feature is pretty sweet - plug in the mp3 or CD player using a $4.29 1/8" stereo cord from Radio Shack and simply play along. The drum machine isnnullt the best, but it sure beats a metronome. |

I havennullt played live with it yet, only for practice. One concern I have is switching between #6 and #46 seems to require scrolling between #7 through #45 to get there. No small task while playing live. Also, some effects tend to clip the sustain of the notes. Otherwise it performs as promised and is a lot of fun to play with. |

I can hear a small hum while playing through it at high gain levels, but certainly nothing horrific. The sound quality of the effects is definitely comparable to other stand alone pedals I have owned/tried. The amp and cabinet modeling isnnullt quite as pronounced as I had hoped for, but there is a definite difference in sound as you try the various combinations. |

No problems yet. The unit sure looks solid enough. Itnulls made of aluminum instead of platic like the Zoom pedals and should last a good long time. |

Overall I think this unit is pretty awesome, especially for the price. It has definitely added a much needed spark to my practice time and opened the doors wide open for trying different tones in that ever elusive quest for the perfect sound. |

I bought my BP 200 at a Guitar Center for about $150 after a friend showed me his RP 200A (the bp 200nulls guitar counterpart).

I can only describe the BP200 as almost more than enough. This can be taken in a positive or negative way. I usually only use about 10 of the programmed effects and 5 of my custom effects (40 presets, 40 custom slots). The effects younullll most often find yourself using are; phaser, flange, assorted reverbs, delays, and overdrives. Most of the effects fall somewhere around these categories. The expression pedal is usually set as a volume pedal except for the wah effects. The most useful feature is the ablility to tweak your own effects out of it. Also comes with built-in tuner but what doesnnullt these days. |

I had a few different bass pedals (Overdrive, Phaser, etc.) and decided to sell those for this. I have even used this pedal for my guitar, keyboard, and even with a microphone. Some of the preset effects are things you would only use as a bass solo effects being that they are impractical if you want to play with other people, but overall in the end it is very useful for the everyday bassist. |

The quality of it was overall decent although when playing with my main bass (a null78 Fender MusicMaster Bass) the compressor (which is on most of the effects) cut the sustain of some notes. I have tweaked most of the effects not to do this however. It is a much better buy then the other single effect pedals seeing that most of them are around the $60-80 range and this is roughly the cost of two. |

This is great for gigs, i play with it at every gig I have. I throw it around like a piece of trash and it takes it without showing any wear at all. |

This pedal is essential for the intermediate bassistsnull quest for more tonal variety. Go ahead. Buy it. You know you want it. |
