Review Danelectro Innuendo

Review by Echelon1 on 12.2.2004

I got this guitar at a pawn shop for $100. Itnulls worth about $269.

  Features

The guitar has 4 built-in effects; distortion, flange, chorus, and tremolo. It has a strat-style pickup configuration. The control knob and selector switch placement is right under the strings, so you hit them whenever you strum.

  Playability

The neck just doesnnullt play as well as other guitars in the same price range. I can play faster on my acoustic than on the Innuendo. Everything else about the guitar is great.

  Quality

The sound is pretty much the same as a strat. It has the same pickup configuration. There are afew tonal differences because of body construction, but it has a great strat-like sound.

  Durability

The guitar holds up quite well. I have played it afew times live and it stayed in tune and the effects performed great. The neck needs more action though.

  Overall

I like this guitar, but i wouldnnullt pay full price for one. If younullre into the kind of playing that I am, you need something with a bit more action. This is a great guitar for just playing chords.
