This amp was a gift but I think it costs $500 on Musicians Friend. Inullm not sure where it was purchased from.

  Features

This amp is Solid-State. 120 watts. 2 12 inch Speakers. It has two channels: Clean and Overdrive. Two modes for overdrive.

Clean Controls: Level (Volume), High, Mid, Low, Reverb Level

Overdrive Controls: Gain 1, Gain 2, Shape, Gain select switch, Low, High, Level (Volume), Reverb

NOTE: The reverb is shared by both channels.

  Playability

The controls are very easy to use. I got my tone the night I got it. I havennullt played many other amps this size or wattage (itnulls 120 watts) but it has pretty good tone for a Solid-State amp.

This amp is pretty loud. When I rehearse with my band I keep the volume between 3 and 4. This amp sounds better loud than it does at bedroom volume.

  Quality

Clean: Very rich. The clean is well bodied and has a smooth, round sound. If you strum or pick hard, the clean channel will bite a little.

Overdrive 1: My favorite. Has a very nice crunch to it. I can get an early AC/DC sound with this setting. Overdrive 1 is a nice, warm sounding overdrive and is really good for rythym. I use it for lead too though.

Overdrive 2: If you want a heavy overdrive, put the gain anywhere from 2 to 4. if you want an intense distortion, go past that. This setting is really cool for metal.

  Durability

This amp is super durable. Inullve dropped a couple of times and nothing seems to be broken. Excep the imput jacks. They are crap. The amp cuts out sometimes. Inullve had this amp checked for a bad jack and the repair guys said there was nothing wrong. (I have tried different cables and different guitars and still have had the same problem so Inullm convinced itnulls the imput jack)

I wouldnnullt use it for a live gig at the moment just because it cuts out. The construction is absolutely awesome though. Itnulls really heavy.

I like this amp a lot. When I play through it I feel good. If you need a loud, sturdy amp for Rock or Metal, get this. Itnulls a very good deal.
