I got my cort X2 BK at a local mysicshop in Yper ( Belgium )195eur. Originaly i needed a guitar wich could handle raw power of Black-death metal and doom-melodics of pagan-viking metal. Well i have to admit, It fucking does! This guitar is ofcourse not perfect, but what i like about it, is that it does what i expected from it.

My X2 is not a guitar that a proffecional player would like,but i like the price/quality ratio ( 195 eur ) Another feature that itnulls a basic-to-the-bone instrument. basic knobs, a primitive pickup-swich and "medieval" humbuckets is a positive side. the negative side of X2 is that the head is just too ugly and totaly doesent fit the body! The width of the nek can be a little thinner as well.
the weight-ballance ratio is realy good and what i probably like the most; ist the shape of the body, basic, classic and Female-shaped.:-D |

This instrument reached more than i expected. if a guitar with "Medival" pickupsystem can "sing" when you touch it, inullm sertainly happy with it. btw ( try fingertappig the intro of "AC&DC - thunder on a cheap guitar. on this one itnulls no problem what so ever :-D )

I would compare the sound of court X2 with a basic Ibanez (jackson-soloist model) it performs realy good by the standards of Black and death metal. |

My guitar is a good instrument for raw, but also melodic stuff, but i realy hate the tremolo-unit, it detunes the sring drammaticly. the string on the original guitar were allso a bit too far from the bridge, but i adjusted that relativly easy. I say it again: this instrument is not a Rols-royce of guitars, but its defenatly a proud "outfit" that i can use for a gig. |

It may sound strange, but this 195eur-guitar is at least good for 5 - 10 years of playing (at least) I donnullt know "cort-guitars" realy well, but this one sure won my trust. Ofcourse itnulls not a guitar for the rest of my life, but wenullre gonna have lots of good moments. |

the guitar has 2 humbuckers a whammy bar a 2 way selector a tone and master volume pot it lacks a locking nut which is annoying and i think maybe a single coil wouldhave been nice aswell but the pickups are definitely good quality
and....24 frets best thing ever |
