I bought it at the Musiciannulls Friend in Brisbane. I Payed 130, but that was on special (end of financial year sale)
Funny story, I didnnullt really play much grunge metal shit. But i was playing around with a Boss Effects Board in a music store and accidentally stood on the metal zone. I was almost blown out of the seat i was sitting in. Shit man it was loud. I didnt think much of it, but ive started lstening to tool and system and seriously this pedal is perfect for it.

  Features

It has 6 Knobs (theres mini knobs built into the middle two. You have Level, 4 EQ knobs, and a distortion level knob. I found all this relatively easy to manage, as long as you kno what knob makes what noise when its turned this way or that way, you should be fine. It created a beautiful sound. Even on an Epiphone special SG with a 10 Watt Amp

  Playability

If Your playing metal than this is the pedal for you. Heaps of different Tones can be achieved.

  Quality

Beautiful sound. Performs well and is mostly Noiseless.

  Durability

I have a Boss Effects Pedal that was discontinued in like the null70nulls and it only has minor scratches. i dunno how it was kept but it looks as tho its been treated like a normal pedal and its lasted 30 years so. id say boss pedals are pretty durable

  Overall

I didnt know about this pedal. But itnulls Great, if your playing metal and grunge than id definitely reccomend it. Itnulls very versatile and it was great
go buy one.

Savins musical center 129(expensive shop)

  Features

amazing flexability with the in built eq you can make millions of sounds including bluesy over drive to full on bass heavy distortion.

  Playability

getting your prefered sound is pretty easy with this pedal.its very responsive too so you can pick softly to get nice cleaner sounding parts of songs.

  Quality

generates a bit of noise but stil...compared to other pedals like digital pedal borad distortion this one sort of "feels"like it was expensive.

  Durability

battery life 12 hours and taking the lead out whenever your not using it is annoying.want a tip?get an adaptor and dont mind the warning you dont need a boss adaptor and 9 volt one will do (i use a korg ax1500g adaptor for mine lol)

  Overall

this pedals gonna cover me for life brilliant stage and recording use you will use this pedal in so many other types of styles which is what i love about it.

bought from the rock shop for $245 nz

  Features

the strong points in this pedal is its killer sound but it lacks because its got jakall mids in it so in recording u may get out blasted by everyone else but its a great pedal for beginners and pros

  Playability

this pedal kills all other pedals you can tell an mt2 metal zone from its grunty metalicaish roar

  Quality

sound quality awesome for heavy metal sounds even death metal iv only tryed a few pedals but this one kills competition off with ease in some cases

  Durability

very reliable my m8 knoked out of a window of a two story house it survived with minor scratches(it landed on concrete)

  Overall

Bought it second hand for $135 New Zealand Dollars.

  Features

6 Knobs: Level, Low, High, Mid, Mid Frequency and Distortion.
Because of the complicated eq it can be quite hard to get that nullgreatnull sound out of it, although because of this same reason you can get a large variety of sounds. It does everything - as long as its metal ;) haha Having dist anywhere below 1/4 way round isnt that great sounding... but distortion is meant to be loud right?

  Playability

Power chords and metallish/hard rock riffs are just so grunty with this pedal.. To pull off wicked solos you need to be very accurate with your finger placement because it will pick up any tapping you accidently (or deliberately) do. Harmonics are veeeeeeeeery loud.

  Quality

The metal zone produces very grunty lows and screeching highs, i like the sound better than most rock distortion pedals such as the boss ds series because it sounds more punchy and defined rather than just fuzzy... it generates a fair amount of noise, alot of people remedy this with a noise gate... personally it doesnt bother me that much.

OF NOTE: To get a really good sound out of this pedal, youll need a decent amp... i was playing on a roland keyboard amp which has sounded quite good with other pedals, and the metal zone sounded horrible (i was thinking of replacing it with a digitech metal master), but after playing it on my freinds H&K WARP 212 i was blown away, the metal zone sounded incredible... new amp time! :(

  Durability

Its structurally very solid, however ive experienced battery cut outs, and ac adaptor will fix that though.

  Overall

Metal Zone=hard. if your looking for something that can play bluesy classic rock riffs etc this is not the pedal for you. If you are looking for a ballsy tool/system/metallica kind of sound then the metal zone is well worth considering

  Playability

  Quality
