Apart from being a superb guitarist and banjo player, Arlo Guthrie is also one of the funniest musical storytellers in the business; this is not too surprising given his genetics. His father was the late, great Woody Guthrie, who also inspired Bob Dylan and Donovan among innumerable others. But Arlo is the musician his father might have wanted to be in his dreams, and his stories are even funnier. If it was Dad who taught him, Arlo surpasses his tutor. If anyone would care to submit a guitar-tab indicating the kind of pick he uses for "The Motorcycle Song" (in as 'user-friendly' a form as possible please; I'm not great at reading music or tabs!), I would be willing to submit the full-length story as given in his live performances. I would also love to see 'Santa Clause Wears a Red Suit' and any other Arlo Guthrie songs... With thanks in anticipation of your help and cooperation,
Sokrates
